“Talking Business with Elected Officials” is our legislative series that brings together local elected officials to discuss relevant business issues and concerns. Business Day at the Capitol - Typically held in March, this event at the State Capitol provides members the opportunity to meet directly to our state legislators about the issues that concern them during the current legislative session.Transportation Taskforce - Currently focused on urging legislators, and MnDOT to make needed improvements that improve mobility on Highways 10 & 169.Federation Partner - Through our affiliation with the Minnesota Chamber, we advocate at the state level on the issues that impact your business. CONNECTINGLunch Mob - These casual lunch meetings give spontaneous networking opportunities in a surprise location. Members are encouraged to bring co-workers and guests. Shiver Elk River is the chamber’s community outreach event that promotes member businesses, builds strong connections between community members and area non-profits, including ERACC, and provides a meaningful leadership experience through an outdoor winter event.The Chamber Golf Classic builds business connections while raising funds and providing leadership and volunteer opportunities to members and their employees. Tournament is held in June/July at a member golf course. The Fall Event is a unique business social event that raises funds apart from membership investments to sustain chamber operations while building strong B2B connections Committees - Energize your membership by volunteering for chamber committees that provide you with leadership and networking opportunities.
