Chamber Ambassadors: The Faces of Welcome!

Chamber Ambassadors are passionate, engaged Chamber members who serve as welcoming faces and enthusiastic champions for our local business community. They help businesses feel seen, celebrated, and connected by visiting new and existing members, recognizing milestones, and showcasing the incredible variety of businesses that make our community strong.

From ribbon cuttings and grand openings to remodels, relocations, anniversaries, and leadership transitions, Ambassadors are often among the first to show up in support—helping businesses feel welcomed and valued every step of the way.

More than just representatives, Ambassadors are connectors. They build relationships, introduce members to one another, share valuable Chamber resources, and help businesses get plugged into the community from day one.

Why Say “Yes” to an Ambassador Visit?

An Ambassador visit is more than a photo opportunity—it’s a moment of recognition and connection.

Businesses say “yes” because an Ambassador visit helps them:

· Celebrate milestones and accomplishments

· Increase visibility through Chamber photos and social media

· Introduce their business to other engaged Chamber members

· Welcome staff, customers, and community partners

· Build relationships that often lead to referrals and collaboration

Whether you’re brand new to the Chamber or celebrating your next chapter, an Ambassador visit tells your story and puts your business in the spotlight.

“The Ambassador visit made us feel instantly connected to the Chamber and the community.”

When to Request—or Expect—an Ambassador Visit or Ribbon Cutting

Ambassador visits and ribbon cuttings are designed to recognize meaningful moments in your business journey.

You may request—or be invited to—an Ambassador visit when you:

· Join the Chamber as a new member

· Open a new business or new location

· Complete a major remodel or expansion

· Reopen after a refresh or relocation

· Welcome new ownership or key leadership

· Reach a milestone worth celebrating

Ribbon cuttings are typically scheduled for grand openings, re-openings, or major milestones that you’d like to publicly celebrate with the Chamber and community.
