Developing informed, connected leaders for the Elk River area
The Community Leadership Program is the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce’s flagship leadership development experience, designed to educate, connect, and inspire individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in our community.
With nearly 350 graduates, this immersive, cohort-based program has helped professionals, business owners, and community members gain a deeper understanding of the Elk River area while building the confidence, relationships, and insight needed to lead effectively.

Program Structure & Experience
Program Schedule
- Runs September through May
- One full-day session per month (typically the 2nd Friday)
- Final half-day session and graduation celebration in May
- Class time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Attendance is required to meet graduation expectations

Application & Tuition
- Applications open each spring
- Enrollment is first-come, first-served
- Application deadline: August 15
- Enrollment is non-transferable
Estimated tuition for planning purposes:
- ~$700 for Chamber members
- ~$800 for non-members
(Final tuition is announced prior to applications opening.)
