Have fun in the snow!

We invite you to come to Shiver Elk River, a family-friendly community “chill-a-bration,” on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Events include the Shiver Plunge, outdoor hockey tournament, 5K obstacle run, and family fun and games on the ice. It’s sure to be “The Most Fun You’ll Have All Winter!”

Most events at Lake Orono Park on the west side of Elk River at Highway 10 and Gary Street

AT LAKE ORONO PARK:
12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Food and Beer by Elk River Lions Club

12:00 - 1:30 p.m. Snow Sculpting Contest Sponsored by YMCA Elk River 


12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Family Games on the ice 

12:30 p.m. Shiver Dash 5K Obstacle Run

Shiver Plunge
For a br-r-r-ry good time, take a dip in Lake Orono to benefit your favorite charity

It’s not too early to be looking for members for your Shiver Plunge team.
Here’s what you need to know:

You can plunge as an individual or as a team.

There is a $35 per person registration fee.

All money raised will be donated to the nonprofit charity of your choice. Last year, $14,000 was sent on to local charitable organizations.
